For Inktober 2019 I drew one goddess a day for 28 days. Before starting I shared the project on instagram, asking my followers to share the name of a goddess they loved. In this way I could come in contact with figures I had never met and deepen the research on the ones I already knew. Every drawing came out with a short text, put together after researching different sources. After a while patterns and archetypes started to surface, gradually illuminating a very old part of human history: the passage from the Goddess to the God and from matriarchal to patriarchal society. – Costanza Coletti
